FENTON FARM EGGS
SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This policy explains how consumer orders placed through the Fenton Farm Eggs online store are processed, dispatched and delivered.
Our current parcel carrier is DPD.
1. WHERE WE DELIVER
We currently deliver to eligible UK mainland addresses only.
We do not currently offer online delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Republic of Ireland, the European Union or other international destinations.
Some Scottish Highlands and other remote mainland postcodes may have different DPD delivery times or service availability. If our checkout accepts your delivery postcode, the available delivery arrangement will be shown as part of the order process.
2. DELIVERY CHARGE
Standard delivery to eligible UK mainland addresses is included in the product price.
There is no separate standard delivery charge and no minimum order value required to qualify for free delivery.
Any non-standard delivery arrangement that requires a separate charge will be made clear before you complete your order.
3. DISPATCH DAYS
Our normal dispatch days are Monday and Thursday.
Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 1–2 working days.
Because we dispatch on set days, the exact dispatch date will depend on when your order is placed.
We may adjust dispatch around bank holidays, severe weather, carrier disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. DPD COLLECTION AND DELIVERY
Orders are booked with DPD as part of our dispatch process.
Our usual DPD service is next-working-day delivery after collection.
This means that once your parcel has been collected by DPD, delivery will normally take place on the next working day.
Any delivery date or time window provided by us or DPD is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Carrier delays can occasionally occur. If there is a significant problem with delivery, please contact us and we will investigate it with DPD.
5. TRACKING
Where tracking is available, DPD or Fenton Farm Eggs may send delivery updates using the email address or mobile telephone number provided with your order.
Please make sure your delivery address and contact details are correct before completing checkout.
6. DELIVERY ADDRESS
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible.
We will try to correct it before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once an order has entered packing or has been handed to DPD.
7. SAFE PLACE AND NEIGHBOUR DELIVERY
You may use DPD delivery options such as delivery to a nominated safe place or neighbour where those options are available.
Please choose a location that is suitable for a food parcel and protects it from weather, animals, theft and excessive heat.
For consumer orders where we arrange delivery, the goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or to a person or place you have nominated in accordance with the delivery arrangements.
8. MISSED DELIVERY, INCORRECT ADDRESSES AND RE-DELIVERY
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the delivery address supplied by the customer is incorrect or incomplete, or because delivery is repeatedly missed, DPD may return the parcel to us.
Where this happens for a reason attributable to the customer, we may require payment of the reasonable additional delivery cost before sending a replacement or re-dispatching the order.
This does not affect your rights where the failed delivery was our responsibility or the responsibility of the carrier.
9. MAYONNAISE STORAGE AND DELIVERY
Our mayonnaise is supplied in sealed jars and is not dispatched using a chilled-delivery service.
Please check the best-before date printed on the jar and follow the storage instructions on the product packaging.
The current product labels state:
Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 4 weeks.
If a jar arrives broken, leaking, with a compromised seal or otherwise damaged, do not consume it. Please contact us as soon as possible and send photographs where possible.
10. DELAYS, LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
If DPD tracking shows an unusual delay, your parcel appears to be lost, or your order arrives damaged, please contact us:
Email: rupert@fentonfarmeggs.co.uk
Telephone: 07779 247805
Please include your order number and, for damage claims, photographs of the parcel and affected products where possible.
We will investigate the issue with DPD and arrange the appropriate remedy.
