can you help[ me generate some policy docs for teh site so far my templates look like this return and refund We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at rupert@fentonfarmeggs.co.uk. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS] If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at rupert@fentonfarmeggs.co.uk. Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at rupert@fentonfarmeggs.co.uk. privacy attached TOS attached need a shipping policy they currently used DPD contact info for EU sales Trade name: Fenton Farm Eggs Phone number: 07779247805 Email: rupert@fentonfarmeggs.co.uk Physical address: GLAN USK FARM, ABERGAVENNY NP7 9BU, United Kingdom VAT number: Trade number: need a legal notice policy obviously these shopify templates are a bit dodgey as were selling mayonnaise not clothes, can you modify them please and then give me a list of Qs to send to them to complete each doc produce the docs as word docs and the list of Qs as a separate document

Done. I’ve rebuilt the generic Shopify policies into a UK-focused Fenton Farm Eggs ecommerce policy pack, specifically written around eggs, mayonnaise and other food products rather than clothing/general merchandise.

I used the supplied Shopify Privacy Policy as the starting point for the data-processing structure  and substantially rewrote the supplied Terms, including removing inappropriate US-centric wording and correcting the original delivery-risk clause.  The returns wording now distinguishes ordinary cancellation rights from rapidly perishable food and sealed hygiene-sensitive goods, while preserving rights for faulty/damaged products.  The policies also keep responsibility for consumer deliveries with Fenton until delivery rather than transferring it when DPD receives the parcel.

All unknown details are highlighted [TO CONFIRM], and the separate questionnaire is designed to collect everything needed to remove those placeholders. I’ve also included checks around online allergen/product information because food allergen information needs to be available before purchase as well as at delivery.

The questionnaire has 74 questions, but quite a few should be quick yes/no or N/A answers. Once Fenton sends that back, the policies can be turned into publication-ready versions with the yellow placeholders removed.

Because these are customer-facing legal documents, I’d still recommend Fenton has the final versions checked by whoever handles their legal/compliance work, particularly if they confirm EU shipping, wholesale/B2B sales or any unusual food-delivery arrangements.

best before date is just printed on the jars like this

Done. I’ve rebuilt the whole pack as plain-text Shopify copy, using all the answers you’ve now provided.

The company details are now correctly shown as Fenton Farm Limited, trading as Fenton Farm Eggs, with company number 12318238 and the Cullompton registered office, matching Companies House.  I’ve also included the registered company information required on a UK limited-company website.

What is now baked in

The policies now reflect the actual business rather than the Shopify boilerplate: mayonnaise only through ecommerce, eggs are information-only, 6-jar minimum with mixed flavours allowed, UK-mainland delivery only, DPD, no free delivery, safe-place/neighbour permitted, customer-paid re-delivery where the failed delivery is their responsibility, Shopify Payments/Apple Pay, Shopify marketing email, no current analytics or ad tracking, essential cookies only, and the correct Holcombe Rogus customer/returns address.

The mayonnaise wording now uses the actual packaging information: the best-before date is printed on each jar, and once opened it should be refrigerated and consumed within four weeks.

I’ve also removed the old EU wording, Glan Usk address, clothing language, gift-card assumptions, generic “30-day return” promise and the US-oriented Shopify T&Cs.

Only four visible blanks remain

They are all in the Shipping Policy:

standard delivery charge → dispatch days → dispatch timeframe/cut-off → normal DPD service/delivery speed.

The fifth client question — ICO registration — is really an internal compliance check. It does not need to hold up the website copy unless they want the ICO number displayed.

One separate launch item is important: the mayonnaise product pages themselves should contain the mandatory food information before purchase. For online prepacked food, required information generally needs to be available before checkout, with the durability/best-before date being an exception that can remain product-specific on the jar. Allergen information in particular must be available before the purchase is completed.

So the jar photos you've sent are enough for us to build the four product pages properly as well. Once Rupert gives you those final shipping answers, send them here and I can remove the four [TO CONFIRM] fields and give you the final publish-ready pack.

more answeers from fenton, please update all documents and prent me a list of outstandfing info still Hi Harry,  I have just send over the documents.  DPD is next day delivery, picked up the day after logged on DPD  Delivery is free we have included it in the price.  Dispatch 1-2 working days  Monday and Thursday dispatch days  Not sure about the ICO data protection registration/reference number.  Let me know If there is anything else that you require. Many thanks,

Updated. I’ve incorporated Fenton’s latest answers across all five customer-facing policies and rebuilt the combined Shopify version. There are now no [TO CONFIRM] placeholders in the publishable policies.

The single combined version for easy copying is here: . The separate outstanding-items document is here: .

The shipping wording now reflects Monday and Thursday dispatch, orders prepared within 1–2 working days, DPD next-working-day delivery after collection, and standard delivery included in the product price.

Outstanding information / actions

  1. ICO registration / data protection fee status. Fenton still needs to confirm whether Fenton Farm Limited is registered and, more importantly, whether it is required to pay the ICO data protection fee. The ICO says organisations processing personal data generally need to pay unless an exemption applies, and provides both a public register and self-assessment.  I couldn't reliably establish Fenton's status from an indexed web search, so I would have them check this directly.

  2. Remote UK mainland postcodes. Fenton has said delivery is included in the product price, but you still need a commercial decision for any unusually expensive Scottish Highlands/remote DPD postcode: absorb the extra cost, block those postcodes, or apply a surcharge. The policy is currently deliberately flexible enough to accommodate any of those choices.

  3. Product-page food information. This isn't really missing information anymore — you supplied the labels — but before launch I'd check that each of the four mayo Shopify product pages contains the corresponding ingredients, allergens, nutritional values, 260g quantity and storage wording. The best-before date can remain jar-specific.

So from a policy-document perspective, we're basically done. The ICO check is the only genuine unanswered compliance question; the other two are launch/configuration decisions.

here are the policies i need p[lease give them to me as separate plain text docs
